Ryan Fetterman is a security and threat researcher on the Cisco Talos team and former leader of Splunk’s SURGe security research group. He focuses on the intersection of AI & Security with a particular emphasis on practical, applied work. He is a co-creator on the PEAK Threat Hunting Framework, and lead author of the Threat Hunter’s Cookbook. Ryan holds a Doctorate and Master's degree from George Washington University and a cybersecurity undergraduate degree from Penn State University. He sometimes holds controversial opinions like “you don’t need AI for that.”
